Building a ₹15,000 Loadout That Doesn't Feel Like ₹15,000

"₹15,000 for peripherals sounds low." That's the reaction we get most often, and it's wrong — or at least, it's wrong if you spend it like a competitor who reads Amazon bestseller lists.

You don't need a flagship mouse. You don't need a flagship keyboard. You need a build where each piece is chosen to do one thing well, and where the four pieces don't fight each other. Here's how that works in practice — three complete builds, each landing within ~₹600 of ₹15,000 once you've picked the parts that fit your hand, each tuned for a different kind of player. Use the framework, then move money between slots — every rupee from a category you've cut is a rupee you can spend where it counts.

The framework

Every build covers four slots: mouse, keyboard, mousepad, audio. Everything else (mic, headset stand, arm sleeves) is optional and excluded from the ₹15,000 math. The NICEHCK DB2 Hybrid IEM appears in two of the three builds because at ₹2,499 it's the single best audio value-per-rupee we stock, and Indian PC gamers overwhelmingly prefer IEMs over bulky headsets for FPS.

The two-line tests we applied to every build:

  • Can the four parts be operated at the same time? IEMs that need a dongle AND a wireless mouse that needs a dongle AND a wireless keyboard all crowded on one USB bus is a real failure mode. Avoided.
  • Does the budget split hit ≥20% per category? A keyboard-heavy build where the pad is ₹800 is misallocation. We aim for roughly: mouse ₹4–6k, keyboard ₹4–7k, pad under ₹2.5k, audio sub-₹2.5k.

Build A — "Flick Build" (Valorant / CS2)

Tuned for high-sensitivity fingertip-grip players who live on 180° flicks and headshots.

MouseATK Dragonfly A9 Plus 2.0₹5,499
KeyboardATK RS6 Air Magnetic Keyboard₹6,499
PadTalongames Type Zero Balanced Mousepad₹1,999
AudioNICEHCK DB2 Hybrid IEM₹1,999
Total ₹15,996

Slightly over ₹15k — the entry mouse here is the ATK Dragonfly because at this price point it's the lowest-cost mouse we trust for high-sensitivity flicks. The Type Zero pad is balanced (not control) because flick players need pad feedback without forcing them to fight the surface on wide swings.

If you're strict on ₹15,000, drop the IEM and use the saving to upgrade the mouse later.

Build B — "Hall-Effect Build" (low-input-lag focused)

For players who want magnetic-switch keyboards because of rapid trigger, adjustable actuation, and zero rollover.

MouseATK Dragonfly A9 Plus 2.0₹5,499
KeyboardEverglide AE68 Pro HE₹6,199
PadBYTHERE TGF1 Tempered Glass₹2,899
AudioNICEHCK DB2 Hybrid IEM₹2,499
Total ₹15,096

That puts Build B ₹96 over the ₹15,000 anchor. The headline choice is the Everglide AE68 Pro HE PDP which explicitly states "0.09 ms ultra-low latency", Sparklink 480 MHz MCU, 256 K scan rate, with WASD-direct ADC channels — a board that lets you actually feel rapid trigger instead of reading about it.

The mouse slot is the swap from the prior Xinmeng ZERO 1 — the ATK Dragonfly A9 Plus 2.0 sits on a PixArt PAW 3395 Ultra sensor at 57 g with 800 mAh battery life. That sensor tier is the lowest-cost match we stock for a flagship HE board — pairing a sub-₹3,500 mouse with a ₹6,000+ HE keyboard usually leaves the mouse-side housing the bottleneck on the cable-free polling path. If you'd rather stay strictly ≤ ₹15,000, drop the IEM (the NICEHCK DB2 Hybrid IEM at ₹2,499) and use the saving later when the build has settled.

Build C — "Balanced Build" (multi-game / MMO + FPS)

For players who switch between Apex and CS2 and Discord calls, and want one build that doesn't specialise aggressively.

MouseATK X1 Air+ or ATK A9 Air+₹8,299
KeyboardLEOBOG A80 RT Series — 75% Hall-Effect flagship, rapid trigger, 0.01 mm RT, 8 KHz polling₹5,299
PadTalongames Type Zero Balanced Mousepad₹1,999
AudioSkip — buy later—
Total ₹15,597

That puts Build C ₹597 over the ₹15,000 anchor — the build tilts flagship on the input side (premium sensor + HE flagship keyboard), and stays disciplined by skipping audio. If you need ≤ ₹15,000 exactly, the cleanest cut is nothing — Build C is already audio-skipping; any further reduction means dropping mouse tier or pad tier, both of which would weaken the actual gameplay loop more than the budget leak would.

On the mouse slot: ATK X1 Air+ and ATK A9 Air+ both list at the same ₹8,299 sale price under ₹8,999, both ship with the PAW3955 Master sensor, both clear the sub-50 g bar. X1 Air+ weighs 48 g with a 127 × 64 × 40 mm shell fitting medium-to-large hands. A9 Air+ is the smaller-shape sibling for medium-to-small hands — pick by hand, not by spec sheet. Either way you've signed up for the flagship PAW3955 generation ATK is positioning its entire competitive line around.

The keyboard slot here is a step up from the 65%-class HE boards in the other two builds. The LEOBOG A80 RT Series is a 75% (80-key) Hall-Effect flagship with rapid trigger, 0.01 mm adjustable actuation, and 8 KHz polling — a real flagship-tier entry, not a midrange HE. Hot-swap layout means you can change switch feel without re-buying the board.

The pad slot moves to the Talongames Type Zero Balanced Mousepad (₹1,999). It's the "balanced cloth" option — it doesn't push you toward tracking like the Type 99 control pad does, and it doesn't push you toward flicks like the ATK Blaze cloth-speed pad does. For a multi-game build the balanced default is the right default, and you can always move to a specialised pad later once the mouse + keyboard combo has settled.

Where the three builds actually land

BuildTotalAnchorSpread
Build A — Flick Build₹15,996₹15,000+₹996
Build B — Hall-Effect Build₹15,096₹15,000+₹96
Build C — Balanced Build₹15,597₹15,000+₹597

None of the three sit comfortably inside an exact ₹15,000 ceiling. That's the territory Indian competitive gear is sitting in right now — flagship HE + flagship mouse + any keyboard with real polling starts at ~₹15,000 even before audio. The three builds are tuned for different priorities; treat the anchor as "around ₹15k", not "under ₹15k".

Where NOT to cut

Three things that look like easy savers and aren't.

  • The mousepad under ₹1,000. Cloth control pads in that range are usually stitched poorly, get frayed edges in two months, and warp on the desk. Buy the Type 99 or Type Zero, or look at the ATK Blaze air - XSOFT Speed Mousepad (₹1,199 sale) if speed is your priority.
  • Audio "for now" with a stock laptop headphone. In FPS games, positional audio is half the skill floor. A ₹2,499 IEM earns its place.
  • A keyboard you can't service. All three keyboards above are hot-swappable or have documented replacement switches. Don't lock yourself into soldered-only boards — the first switch failure at month 14 should not mean a full re-buy.

What you'll actually notice

The point of these builds is not "saving money." The point is that nobody in this ₹15k stack is filler. Every piece does one job well, and the four pieces don't fight each other for USB bandwidth, audio channels, or pad friction.

If you want a build outside these three — budget tighter than ₹10k, or wider than ₹20k — talk to us on WhatsApp or book a free consultation. We build these for a living.
