KYUU DESIGN – Orochi-Taiji

A legendary battle, brought to your desk.

Inspired by the 23rd volume of Otogi-zōshi (Tales from the Imperial Collection), the Orochi-Taiji (Great Demon Exorcism) depicts the legendary raid on Mt. Ōe. The artwork portrays Minamoto no Raikō, accompanied by his Four Heavenly Kings and Fujiwara no Yasumasa, in their battle against the demon king Shuten-dōji.

Beyond its striking artwork, this is a speed-oriented gaming surface engineered for rapid mouse movement, quick initial glide and dependable stopping control.

Speed-Oriented Fabric Surface

Built with a high-density random-weave fabric incorporating specialised silver silk. Its distinctive textured construction delivers a fast initial glide and low dynamic friction, allowing for quick mouse movement and responsive micro-adjustments.

The surface retains reliable stopping power, helping balance speed with control during gameplay.

Inoue SLIMFLEX® Base

The custom Inoue SLIMFLEX® urethane sponge base provides a soft-to-medium feel with excellent grip and rebound.

Its engraved underside features KYUU DESIGN's exclusive pattern, combining functional performance with distinctive detailing.

Low-Profile Sunken Stitching

Precision, below-surface stitching minimises edge interference and reduces potential discomfort during extended gaming sessions. Dense weaving around the edges also helps improve durability.
