Hybrid Driver Architecture

10mm Second-Generation LCP Dynamic Driver

The low and mid-frequency foundation comes from a 10mm second-generation solid-phase polymerized LCP diaphragm dynamic driver. Its dual-cavity acoustic design is engineered to deliver full-bodied bass, natural vocals and a convincing sense of depth.

6mm Annular Planar Magnetic Driver

A dedicated 6mm annular planar magnetic driver handles high-frequency reproduction. Its design is intended to deliver smooth, detailed treble and help create a coherent presentation across the hybrid driver system.

Together, the two drivers are tuned to balance musical enjoyment with the detail and separation that matter in competitive gaming.

Gaming-Focused Sound Customization

The EG280 is more than a conventional wired IEM. Its gaming DAC and software ecosystem allow users to tailor the sound to different games and listening environments.

With supported SIMGOT software, users can explore game-specific sound profiles for titles such as:

• Counter-Strike 2

• VALORANT

• Apex Legends

• PUBG

• Delta Force

• Overwatch 2

Profiles are designed to help emphasize useful in-game details, including footsteps and directional cues. Actual positional accuracy will also depend on the game's audio engine, settings and the user's setup.

Eight-Band Parametric EQ

Take control of your sound with an eight-band customizable parametric equalizer. Adjust frequency points, gain and Q values, experiment with filters and save your own sound profiles.

The software also offers preset gaming profiles for different genres, including FPS, MOBA and other gaming scenarios.

Dedicated Hi-Fi Gaming DAC

The EG280's supplied gaming decoder supports high-resolution PCM audio up to 32-bit/384kHz. Its DSP processing enables sound customization and EQ adjustments through supported software.

The included DAC connection supports USB-C devices, with a USB-A adapter available for compatible PC setups.

Clear Communication

The EG280 features a high-sensitivity silicon microphone designed for voice communication during competitive play. Its microphone processing is intended to reduce interference and help maintain intelligible voice pickup, even in noisy gaming environments.
